1826
Restaurant Branding
Located in a historical godown built in its namesake year on scenic Boat Quay, 1826 embodies the juxtaposition of opposing elements – traditional meets modernity, east fuses with the west and nature versus the urban.
To strengthen its unique look and feel, lush greenery is paired with smooth, refined brushed metal textures, and the stylish elegant Bodoni font is accentuated with mechanic Eurostile. As a nod to traditions past, we got sign painter Charmaine Chen to infuse a bit of Old World Charm, realising our shopfront design in actual gilded gold, and capturing the admiration of passers-by along the riverside.
Patrons are immersed in a full sensory suite of sight, taste and sound at various touch points in the restaurant. At the table, a realistic leaf encased in resin prompts waiting customers to interact with our specialised playlist, curated to pair with our signature Contemporary Fusion dishes.
